Seen from the old port, the "bonne-mère" overlooks the sailboats, dinghies and other boats that cross its waters. Marseille is revealed in all its splendor, under the pen of Paulo Mariotti, with the magnificent pink and yellow facades of the rive neuve quay, and the tangle of heterogeneous buildings, until Notre Dame de la Garde. From the top of its hill, it watches over the bay. For centuries, survivors of storms or shipwrecks have covered her with ex-votos for her gracious protection.

Born in Bahia, Brazil, and graduated in Graphic Arts at the FAAP Foundation in Sao Paulo, Mariotti moved to Paris in 1991 where he studied literature at the Sorbonne. Since then he has been illustrating for the press (Ideat Magazine) and advertising in France and abroad. At the same time, he is the permanent correspondent for Vogue Brazil magazine in Paris.

For Image Republic, Paulo Mariotti has imagined an exclusive collection around travel, drawings with a vintage atmosphere, featuring emblematic destinations such as Los Angeles, Rio, Sydney, Rome or Monte-Carlo. These illustrations are available in different formats, 30x40 cm, 40x50 cm and 56x76 cm, a line of stationery including notebooks and postcards.
