From the top of her hill, she watches over the bay. For centuries, the survivors of storms or shipwrecks have covered it with ex-votos for its gracious protection.

The Corsican coastline is adorned with towers dating from the Genoese occupation in the 16th and 17th centuries, the Albo Tower and the Agnello Tower being the two most emblematic ones. For Monsieur Z, they blend into the landscape and flora of a peaceful cove.

The designer from the Var region of France inscribes the principality in a luxuriant vegetation, like a peaceful village. But its majestic rock imposes its verticality, golden of sun, dominating its port and the sea wave.

Antoine Corbineau is a French illustrator born in 1982. He graduated from Camberwell College of Arts in London (BA 2006) and the Ecole Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Strasbourg (MA 2007).

His colorful and often strikingly complex works have already attracted a large number of clients worldwide. Using a rich palette of mediums and techniques, Antoine creates beautifully busy patchworks of texture, illustration and typography. His work has the rare and powerful gift of instantly communicating a simple message, but also effectively sharing a much larger amount of information, hidden in the fun and energetic world of his illustrations.
