“A beautiful picture is worth a thousand words,” said Émile Deyrolle in 1870. These famous educational charts – dedicated to zoology, botany, anatomy, and even Leçons de choses
– adorned the walls of schools in France and around the world.

Founded in 1831, Deyrolle is an institution dedicated to Nature, Art and Education. Its Cabinet of Curiosities at the 46 rue du Bac in Paris (France) invites visitors to observe, understand and admire Nature. For nearly two centuries, its extraordinary collections have fueled the imagination of artists – from surrealists to contemporary creators – collectors, and visitors from all around the world.

Deyrolle was partner of COP21 and remains faithful to its original vocation, pursuing its missions today: cultivate curiosity, beauty, and knowledge. Each poster is an invitation to learn in a different way: with wonder, clarity and respect for the living world.
