After studying at the School of Applied Arts in Paris, Claire Morel Fatio graduated with a degree as an illustrator and graphic designer. She now works for major publishing houses in the practical and youth sectors (Albin Michel, Flammarion, First, Hachette, Larousse, Payot...).
As a Parisian, she is particularly passionate about the city that she illustrates with tenderness and poetry. Always in search of places to draw, she likes to be surprised at a street corner by a detail that she would not have seen before, or by a scene of everyday life.
Her work leaves a great place to the vibration of the line and the pigments of the watercolours. This allows her to bring softness and sensitivity to her illustrations. She likes the viewer to be told a story, to be carried away in a world of lightness, which takes him out of his daily life, even if only for a moment.
