As its name suggests, this Parisian studio is a genuine partnership. The brainchild of Albéric and Léopoldine, Le Duo is a leading proponent of the art of “flat design”, a style that fuses the worlds of the geometric, colourful, minimalist and refreshing. Graduates of the ESAG-Penninghen School of Art and Graphic Design (Paris) and the Chelsea College of Art and Design (London), they are now working in the advertising industry with prestigious clients including Monoprix, Thalys, Nestlé and more recently, AXA. They collaborate regularly with magazines such as Ideat, The Good Life, Men’s Health and Le Monde and recently came up with the illustrations for a card game, “Memomania”, published by Marabout. Their inspiration springs from a variety sources; design and architecture, of course, but also iconic objects and brands.
